Pediatric Sleep Disorders

If your child has trouble sleeping at night, and you wonder if it’s normal or something more serious.

Our sleep experts can help.

Sleep issues are common in children; school age children need at least 9 hours of sleep, and guidelines recommend even more for younger children. Our goal is to provide the best pediatric sleep services possible to the families in the Louisville Metro area. Our physicians are board certified in sleep medicine and have undergone additional training to diagnose and treat sleep disorders. The symptoms of a sleep disorder can appear different in children than it does in an adult.

When to see a Pediatric Sleep Specialist

When a lack of sleep or a lack of quality of sleep begins to have negative effects on your child’s performance at school or activities, it may be time to seek help. Poor sleep can be dangerous as it can cause accidents, injuries, decreased reaction times, and behavior and mood problems for children and adults.
